New client: Aleenta Resorts, Thailand

We are delighted to welcome Aleenta Resorts and Spas in Thailand as a new NeoLux client.

Aleenta Resorts & Spas are located in Phuket and Hua Hin, with a third opening in Chiang Mai at the beginning of April. Each offers an intimate boutique experience rooted in the warmth of Thai hospitality with suites, pool villas and beachfront retreats that make the most of Thailand’s scenery and celebrate life’s finer things: an epicurean essence and immersive spa experience, all with a light footprint.

The Ayurah Wellness programme is a feature of each resort. The concept of Ayurah, meaning middle path or balance, shapes the varied programme of retreats that each begin with a personalised consultation and can be supported by bespoke nutrition plans and medi-spa expertise.

Aleenta Phuket Phang Nga Resort & Spa - located on the sunset side of the Andaman Sea and the secluded Natai Beach this resort offers an all-suites outside living concept. Each room has a private pool or swim-up access and expansive floor to ceiling windows. Room types range from Ocean View Lofts to Four Bedroom Beachfront Villas with sea views, kitchen, lounge and dining area, vast wooden sundeck and large private pool. The Edge Restaurant features a delicious menu of Intro, Aquatic, Flora & Fauna and Finale choices, and on 27 February 2023 they opened an innovative new dining experience - SEASONS - Thailand’s first plant-based fine dining restaurant. The resort’s Ayurah Wellness Centre offers a selection of retreats including Detoxification, Breathing Vitality, Self-love and Stress & Pain Reduction CBD. A Kids Club is also on hand to provide children from 18 months to 10 years with over 45 different activities, including educational classes at the resort’s celebrated turtle sanctuary. Local sights include ancient temples, hidden waterfalls, the iconic islands of Phang Nga Bay, and local markets that can be explored by bicycle.

Aleenta Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Spa - located on the Gulf of Thailand’s Pak Nam Pran Bay and with a backdrop of the Three Hundred Peaks National Park the suites and beachfront villas here are just steps from a beach that is internationally renowned for kite surfing. Accommodation ranges from whitewashed buildings with thatched roofs to the Penthouse, a romantic circular shaped residence with stone tub for two and private sun terrace offering dramatic views from the highest point of the resort, and a Four Bedroom Beach Villa complete with outside dining area and infinity pool. This is a no TV resort and guests are encouraged to switch off and enjoy the natural show - from the stars at night to the daytime activities. These include exploring the 25km cycle path that runs along the coast and discovering how vines grow in a tropical climate at the Monsoon Valley Vineyards. Ayurah Wellness Centre programmes here including Stress & Burnout and Pause & Restore, devised to reenergise and regain life balance. The resort is also known for it’s bakery and 25-acre organic farm which feeds the Aleenta Restaurant with organic herbs and vegetables. The resort’s chefs are experts in molecular cooking and other carbon-free techniques with much of the cooking done in solar ovens and smokehouses, and clay pots that are buried in the hot sand on the beach.

Aleenta Retreat Chiang Mai - opening on 6 April 2023, this 44 room property embraces its spiritual setting in Chiang Mai with a programme of retreats and a design that assimilates into the jungle setting. More soon…

Central to the Aleenta brand is a long standing commitment to sustainability. They were the first hotel group in Thailand to go single-use plastic free back in 2018 and have been working with suppliers across their supply chain to change the way they package and deliver their products and produce. They also are founding members of the Pure Blue Foundation which supports multi-faceted marine conservation efforts including coral reef restoration in Koh Samui, marine turtle conservation at Phang Nga and a turtle sanctuary in Thai Muang, where hundreds of endangered leatherback turtles have been raised and released into the Andaman Sea.
